Curated Performance Projects on Italian, Swiss and USA Composers

Echoes of USA and Italy

Her programs move freely across the repertoire, from Baroque to contemporary music, combining established works with new compositions and collaborations with living composers.

Alongside performances of existing repertoire, she actively engages with composers through premieres, contributing to the expansion of the piano repertoire and to the circulation of new music across different cultural contexts.

Exploration of overlooked works

Rediscovering Repertoire

Through curated programs, she brings underperformed works into dialogue with more familiar pieces, offering audiences new perspectives on the classical canon. This work is shaped by a desire to reveal connections across different periods, styles, and musical identities.

Rather than presenting these works as isolated discoveries, her approach seeks to integrate them into a broader narrative, where they can resonate fully within today’s concert life.

Chamber Music Projects

Balestri-Guccione Duo

With flutist Yuri Guccione, Principal Flute of the Teatro Massimo in Palermo, she develops projects that contemporary repertoire within broader cross-cultural frameworks. Bez-Balestri Duo

With French violinist Jean-Samuel Bez, her work focuses on Italian, Swiss, and French repertoire, exploring connections and contrasts across these traditions, with a particular interest in composers associated with the Prix de Rome.
